Summer in California
Ahh! Summertime is here for all the kids and adults, time for the best vacation ever!! After 3 long seasons of work and school, life is free.
All people, including adults, like to relax and go spend time with their families. Summertime is the best time of all, and here are some ways to spend that time if you live in California.
One fun thing to do during the summer is to try new foods. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!! Ice cream is a very popular dessert to get after a long, hot hike. You can get some yummy frozen treats at places like Cool Haus, Mother Mog, Scoops, and even at Mashti Malone's. These ice cream parlors are located near and in Hollywood and in San Francisco. Some of these places might be located near you, so head on over to one!
During summer you can also go to places like the Page Museum to see their new exhibits such as their Wooly Mammoth. Other places to visit during summer is Pinz Bowling Alley in Studio City where kids can bowl for free all summer.
Summer is also the time to visit family in another city or to visit a famous area in California that you haven't seen yet.
